RBSS eLearning

Client:

Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services

Overview

The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS), in partnership with the ABLE Commission, engaged Ghost to develop an on-demand Responsible Beverage Sales and Service (RBSS) training program.

Our goal was to create a comprehensive, engaging, and user-friendly training program that educates alcohol sellers and servers on their legal responsibilities, preventing underage sales and over-service to intoxicated individuals.

For statewide adoption and impact, the training needed to be accessible across various business sectors, including bartenders, convenience store clerks, grocery store employees, and liquor store personnel.

How We Helped

Ghost modernized the RBSS training with a dynamic, interactive learning experience. The previous text-heavy materials led to low engagement and adoption, necessitating a shift to multimedia-rich e-learning content.

We developed a cohesive visual style for all graphics and learning materials to create an engaging user experience. 36 video segments were produced using kinetic typography and motion graphics to deliver structured training content as part of a self-guided, interactive course.

To reinforce learning and improve comprehension, the training program also included quizzes and knowledge checks.

Results

By transforming the RBSS training into an engaging, multimedia-rich e-learning program, Ghost achieved:

  1. Increased Adoption Rates: More participants are now completing the training.
  2. Higher Engagement: Interactive content has led to improved learner involvement.
  3. Enhanced Understanding: Participants demonstrate a stronger grasp of responsible alcohol sales practices.

This project underscores Ghost’s expertise in creating impactful training solutions that deliver measurable results.
