Overview
The First National Bank of Okmulgee had an identity problem.
In Oklahoma alone, there are 20 First National Banks. In the U.S., there are at least 84 more registered. With locations in Okmulgee, Henryetta, and Wewoka, the bank has big plans to expand into new markets. They knew they needed to better differentiate themselves from other banks. Ghost was engaged to develop a new name and brand identity.

WHAT WE DID
The first step in helping FNB rebrand involved looking into their history, impact, and plans for the future. After extensive research and discussion, Ghost presented the name Patrons Bank.
A Patron is defined as a person who gives financial or other support to a person, organization, cause, or activity; or a customer, especially a regular one, of an establishment. The new name speaks to their commitment to their communities, as well as their dedication to providing an exceptional customer experience.
Ghost identified and elevated an icon that had been a part of the organization’s previous logos for decades and paired it with a custom word mark. The new identity has been registered as a federally-protected trademark.

RESULTS
With the visual identity established, we started working on brand activation.
From stationery and print collateral to environmental signage and a completely new website, we updated every single touchpoint to bring the new identity to life.
A brand video was also produced to highlight the legacy of the company, the loyalty of its customers and the dedication of their employees in the communities they serve.
